A steroid cycle is the length of time in which a person uses steroids. The time of use is referred to an ‘on cycle’ and when a person decides to take time off between steroid cycles, this period is known as an ‘off cycle’.
Typically, someone just starting out on their first steroid cycle will use just two compounds together, over a period of no more than 8 weeks. This is to ensure that they don’t use more steroids than they need to and put too much strain on their body. It’s also to help them assess whether steroids are right for them or not. The choice to use steroids should never be undertaken lightly, and so if you do decide to go ahead it’s important to prepare as much as you can.
